Files follow your filename template. Images save as SVG cards and videos as storyboard notes, because this workbench does not have Grok’s media bytes. Turn on ZIP to keep the folder path inside one archive. The userscript downloads the original files on grok.com.
Ready.
Saved prompts
The box below stands in for Grok’s “Type to imagine” field. Templates use {placeholders}. Wildcards like {red|blue} stay untouched.
Dashboard
Read-only. Counts come from this browser’s library, tags, download history, and saved prompts.
Settings
Same knobs as the userscript. There, values apply on the next reload. Here they apply as soon as you save. Numbers outside the allowed range are clamped.
Install the userscript
Version 2.0.0. The script runs on grok.com inside Tampermonkey and uses your existing session. It does not ask for a password. This workbench is the same toolkit against a library stored locally.
- Install Tampermonkey. On Chrome, open the extension’s details and turn on “Allow User Scripts”.
- Open Grok-Imagine-Toolkit.user.js and choose Install.
- Go to grok.com/imagine. On the Saved page, let the search index finish once. Tags, prompts, the downloader, the dashboard, and settings then share one dock.
Open Grok-Imagine-Toolkit.user.js
What the script adds on grok.com
- Favorites search with a local index, date filter, shuffle, and JSON export.
- Tag manager: per-image and bulk tags, auto-tag rules, rename, delete, and merge.
- Bulk downloader with history, ZIP export, a stop button, and filename templates.
- Saved prompts, including templates with variables.
Unofficial, not affiliated with xAI. GPL-3.0. A site change on grok.com can break the script until it is updated. Removing one image from a tag is not included; delete or merge the tag instead.
